What we do

If water is going somewhere it shouldn’t, we find it. Our specialty is non-destructive leak detection — acoustic, thermal, and pressure-based locating that tells us exactly where the leak is before anyone picks up a hammer. Then we either repair it on the spot or coordinate the right repair plan with you.

Plumbing leak detection

Hidden supply-line and drain-line leaks behind walls, under floors, and in ceilings.

Slab leak detection

Pinpointing leaks under concrete slabs without indiscriminate jackhammering.

Pool & spa leaks

Locating leaks in pool shells, return lines, skimmers, and pump plumbing.

Irrigation leaks

Finding zone-by-zone leaks in irrigation supply and drip lines under turf and beds.

Underground line locating

Tracing buried supply, drain, and irrigation lines before any excavation.

Repair & repipe

Once we find it, we fix it — from spot repairs to full repipes, residential and commercial.

Common Questions

How does professional leak detection work?
We use acoustic listening equipment, thermal imaging, tracer-gas testing, and pressure analysis to pinpoint the exact location of a leak — above ground or below — without breaking concrete, opening walls, or digging up your yard until we know precisely where the leak is. The goal is one small, surgical repair instead of speculative demolition.
How much does leak detection cost?
Pricing depends on the type of leak (plumbing supply line, drain line, irrigation, pool, slab, etc.) and the size of the property. Most residential locates fall in a predictable range; we quote you on the phone before we dispatch. Call (772) 277-0337 for a free estimate.
How long does it take?
Most leak locates take 1–3 hours on site. Complex slab or pool leaks occasionally take longer, especially when multiple test methods are needed to confirm the source. We always tell you up front if a job looks like it will run long.
Can you find a leak under my concrete slab without breaking it?
Yes — that’s the entire point of professional leak detection. We use non-destructive locating methods to identify the leak’s exact position, then cut the smallest possible access hole (or, in many cases, recommend a re-route that avoids breaking the slab altogether).
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. ASAP Leak Detection, LLC has been an active Florida limited liability company since April 2019, and we are BBB Accredited with an A+ rating. Proof of license and insurance is provided on request before any work begins.
What’s the difference between a leak detection specialist and a regular plumber?
A regular plumber’s primary tools are wrenches and pipe sections — they’re trained to fix what they can see. A leak detection specialist’s primary tools are listening equipment, gas tracers, and thermal cameras — we’re trained to find what’s hidden. We do both: we find the leak first, then we fix it.
